Kris Ponce is a Mexican-American photographer and videographer raised in Hartford, Connecticut and currently based in Madison, Wisconsin. He received a Bachelors of Fine Art from Montserrat College of Art with a concentration in Photography, Video, Film.
His interest in photography began in high school and continued in college as he sought multiple avenues of expression. The night photography that Kris continues to explore are complex cinematic scenes of solitude, shadow and absence. Focusing on architecture and varying light sources to create a dynamic composition draws the viewer into the unknown space.
